A Royale Takitumu wedding is a very special day, unlike any other and our tropical hideaway is the epitome of romance.

Royale Takitumu will happily organize very private weddings on the beach, on the lagoon, under a palm tree, in the gardens, around the pool or in the local church.

Our weddings are available only to our own guests (a minimum 4 night stay).

Our wedding hostess of over ten years experience, is personable, efficient and reliable. She will ensure your most important day becomes your most memorable one and is available to help you though the processes leading up to and including the big day…..

Documentation Required
To get married in the Cook Islands you will need the following:

• Birth certificates and passports (if previously married – Divorce decree papers, if widowed – death certificate of partner)
• Wedding couple should be in the Cook Islands 4 working days from the time of visiting Registrar prior to wedding date set.
• License should be issued 4 days prior to wedding date.

Our senior wedding coordinator (Mrs. Rongo Preston)
Rongo will correspond with you prior to your arrival to Rarotonga to discuss all arrangements for your wedding. She will take you to the Registry Office to apply for the marriage license, then, will help choose your wedding location and finalize the little and big things that make a “stress free wedding”.
